Katy Wilder Schaaf, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and works alongside her own family using governance to support the vision and values of E. Ritter & Company, a 5th generation family business founded in 1886. Katy speaks nationally about her work in family business and has written about effective family councils and next generation development in Family Business Magazine, where she serves on the Advisory Board. Also, she is Director of the Family Business Forum at Virginia Commonwealth University
