January is an opportunity for a fresh start. Check out the below four options to make the most of this month and get you ready for the exciting year ahead!
Take A Walk In The Snow
Fill a fun mug with hot cocoa, bundle up, and take a stroll in the snow. The cold weather will awaken your soul and the quiet of the heavy snowfall will give you time to think. My grandmother once wondered, “What if snowflakes are love letters from God?” What are the snowflakes saying to you?
Give Yourself Permission To Sleep In
Cold winter months are perfect times to re-energize and get a bit of extra rest. If you are anything like me, when I sleep in, I have regrets and guilt about it. Give yourself permission to a regret and guilt-free Saturday morning rest.
Write Thank You Notes
Thank you notes are fast to write and leave a lasting impact. Did you receive a holiday gift (no matter how small)? Were you invited into someone’s home? Did you see family? Did someone leave a positive impression on you? Find a pack of thank you notes (on clearance!) and take 30 minutes to knock them out.
Create An Inspiration Board
We spend the first month of the year “talking” about what we need to do – let’s put pen (markers, glue, glitter, etc) to paper and give ourselves some visual motivation to make it happen! Check out my Pinterest Inspiration Board for ideas!
Did you try one of the above? We would love you to share your experiences below!
